Last month, we got to celebrate with Rebecca + Remigio at their beautiful Manor Estate wedding in Madera, California. We always love weddings at the Manor Estate, especially with a couple as sweet as this! I loved designing Rebecca and Remigio’s layout. We kept it minimalistic to match the white backdrop they chose, and gave it a pop of color with gold flags, which matched the theme of their reception.
If you are curious what a white backdrop looks like in different settings, this wedding is a perfect example. The first half of these images were taken at the cocktail hour when the sun was a couple hours away from setting. We were set up with the sun behind the backdrop, and the sun illuminated the backdrop in a way that it made the fabric pure white. The second half of the images were taken during the reception, after the sun had set. For the reception, the backdrop was lit by our flash, and both the backdrop and subjects have a nice rich tone. I love the way the backdrop looked in both situations. The white backdrop is one of my very favorites! I always love clean and minimal! I hope you enjoy, too!
