re:TREAT Color + Design Hair Studio | Fresno Friday

Fresno Friday

I had the pleasure of sitting down with Anna from re:Treat Color + Design Hair Studio yesterday! I sat in her chair and we chatted about life and business while she made my braid dreams come true! (More about that below!) I am so excited to feature her on today’s edition of Fresno Friday!

Anna owns a hair studio in Old Town Clovis and runs it along with an incredible team of talented stylists. I met Anna at the Blush Bridal Event in the spring when our booths were set up next to each other. She was such a joyful presence, and I loved the passion and ideology behind her hair studio. It’s clear from the moment you step into re:Treat that Anna wants each guest to feel valued. She and her team go the extra step with every decision they make. From the way they decorate their space, to the little amenities they offer while you wait, to their genuinely cheerful attitudes, they have made their space a true retreat. They even brought me a treat tray with peaches, chocolate, and a refreshing towel while I had my braid done! Anna made sure I smelled the towel, as it had lavender essential oils! It’s with this mentality that they treat every guest at their studio!

They specialize in hosting groups and parties in their gorgeous space. They’ve got the snacks, the drinks, the comfy chairs, the music, the natural light, the talented stylists, and the atmosphere for a perfect bridal party morning. Every couple of months, Anna also hosts educational evenings at her studio, where you can learn tips on doing your own hair at home! You can find me at the next one!

You can scroll through the photos I took of their space on my iPhone, as well as a few videos at the end. Anna takes us on a tour of the studio, and she gives me the most incredible braid! Watch her in action! When you’re done looking at the videos, do yourself a favor and stop by the studio in Old Town Clovis on Bullard and Pollasky to see it in person! It’s right across from the new House of JuJu!

Thanks for having me, Anna! I loved learning all about your studio!

P.s. Anna is expecting their third child! So if you see her in person, tell her congratulations!

I love this city. (Fresno, and Clovis, that is.) Sure, Fresno has made it's way into the punch line of somebody's joke a time or two. (It's good to laugh at yourself, right?!) But when I think of Fresno and Clovis, I think of all the great people here. I think of all the innovative businesses popping up left and right. I think of the bright minds working hard to bring amazing events to our community. I love that our photo booth gets to be a part of so many of these awesome occasions in the area. The more events we do, the more I realize we've got a great thing going in our (not so) little city. There is a lot of talent here, and a lot of u ...

Fresno Knows Tacos | Fresno Friday
Fresno knows tacos. We make a lot of tacos in this city. And they are really, really good. In fact, our Triple-A baseball team "The Grizzlies" turns into "The Tacos" every year during the Taco Truck Throwdown. Call me cheesy, but our love of tacos is something that brings people together. :) Steven and I get pretty excited about finding the perfect tacos, so, this week, for the sake of research, Steven and I enjoyed 3 different taco shops. (It was for research, okay!?) Keep reading to see what shops and trucks we enjoyed, and what taco joint is still our favorite. Milk & Honey | Fresno Friday
Last weekend, our booth was part of something new and exciting! We joined up with a team of local vendors for a hands-on bridal experience called Milk & Honey. It actually took place just outside of Fresno, in Tulare, but many of the vendors were local to Fresno. And since I make the rules around here, it still counts for Fresno Friday. :) The event came together like a dream. There was so much inspiration for both couples and vendors. This may have been the event’s first year, but you’d never know it by the way everything effortlessly flowed together! The coordinators behind the event, and all of the vendors involved did such an amazi ...
