This is our second year having the booth at California Baptist University‘s Yule winter event! This event is an absolute highlight for us. We live about 5 hours north of the university, but one of my best friends lives in the area. She connected us with this event last year, and now, not only is the event amazing, it’s an awesome excuse to go visit her and her husband! We even got to bring our daughter along for the weekend both years, because our friends babysat her during the event. What a sweet adventure! Last year, our baby girl was just 6 weeks old when we made the trip, and it’s one of our favorite memories. This year, she could walk (also read: wobble) around and enjoy her time on vacation! We hope to continue this tradition every year. 🙂
Yule is CBU’s winter community life event with a delicious dinner, a chance to dress up, and lots of entertainment. This year, they hired magician Justin Flom as the main act, and we got to turn off the photo booth and relax and watch the act for an hour! This guys was the real deal. (He’s been on Ellen and many other late night shows!) I am still trying to wrap my mind around his insane tricks.
Both years we had two photo booths at the event, and the line for the booths were wrapped around the corner non-stop. I am sharing just a few of my favorites on the blog today! There were so many fun ones to choose from! These college students have so much fun and get so creative in the booth! I love seeing what clever poses they come up with. (Like that two shot fist bump!? Now that’s next level!) This year we used two backdrop that I love: our reversible mauve sequin, and our dark grey. I love the way these looked with the layout and the Yule logo! Enjoy the photos!
